Designation Statements

Physician CME

Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association designates this other/blended learning activity for a maximum of 73.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 73.5 Medical Knowledge MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.


CMD Credit Hours

This CME activity has been pre-approved for up to 42.5 management hours and up to 31.0 clinical hours toward certification or recertification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity. The CMD Program is administered by PALTmed. American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)

The AAFP has reviewed PALTC25 Annual Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 21.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 03/12/2025 to 03/15/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurse Pharmacology Credit

Certain education sessions have been identified as containing content that may fulfill the requirements for nurse pharmacology hours. These sessions are listed in the Full Schedule. Learners may self-report these hours to the AANPCB by submitting their PALTC25 certificate of participation.

NAB (Administrator)

This program will not offer NAB Participant Hours/Credits.

Learner Assurance Statement and the Association Policy on Disclosure and Resolution of Conflict of Interest

It is the association's policy that all those in a position to directly control CME content, such as, planning committees, faculty, and authors, disclose any relationships with commercial entities upon nomination or invitation for participation. Disclosure documents are reviewed in advance for potential conflicts of interest. If conflicts are identified, they are resolved prior to confirmation of participation to ensure participation and/or presentation is non-biased/ promotional, evidence-based and scientifically sound. Only those participants who had no conflict of interest or who agreed to an identified resolution process prior to their participation are involved in this CME activity.
